Guided by Grace
I've always been fascinated by God's presence in our lives — how He's always been there guiding us, yet we're forced to rely on faith to recognize the miracles he's working, the blessings he's providing. It's easier than we'd like to admit to sometimes forget God in the narrative of our lives when things are going well — when there's no obstacles lying in our path.
I can look at my life in a series of events that have led me to where I am today. As I look back, I can see now how necessary each trial was, each tribulation that at the time seemed so insurmountable and how each of those instances — those instances where I felt so lost, so discouraged, so hopeless — led me onto the next. I see how important each was in getting me to where I was supposed to go. The triumphs and the failures — all have always been worth it in the end.
I don't believe in mistakes. I believe that everything happens for a reason, that there's purpose behind all that goes on in this crazy, tumultuous yet perfectly imperfect world. I believe in the most rickety yet beautiful paths leading you to places you never thought you'd go, to mountaintops you never thought you'd see, to places and experiences God led you to so you could understand more of who He is, more of who He wants you to be.
I know without a doubt that God has led me to where I am today. The path I've taken, the path I'm on — I never would have found without his guidance and grace, without his hand leading me along, leading me through. And for that, I am eternally grateful, eternally faithful and eternally dedicated to living a life that brings glory to Him in all that I do.
